Founded in 2008, Rugged Asia was birth though a need to supply Rugged Mobile Computing Devices to industries that set a high standard of requirement for Rugged Mobile Devices. These companies knew what it meant to operate within harsh environments where an ordinary handheld device would have failed.  Data collected and applications running in these harsh environments are critical data and cannot afford to be lost.

Whist servicing a top tier group of clients, Rugged Asia also found a niche of customers who were not educated in the many advantages Rugged Devices had over their more consumer grade “cousins”.  Rugged Asia then found itself presenting and servicing a whole new tier of clients that could not afford to lose data and efficacy, and could afford to upgrade to more Rugged Devices.

With its headquarters in Singapore, it puts Rugged Asia in the heart of the Asia Pacific region.  As a technological Hub and a Country that thrives on new innovations, Singapore is quick to adopt and implement efficient and value for money cost saving techniques. Rugged Devices are able to show that they increase efficiency, work in any environment, and provide the customer with a value for money product.
